REFUND POLICY
If you are not completely
satisfied with our web hosting services, and you notify Adaptive Hosting
in writing via the
Customer
Information Center within the first 30 days of your contract that you wish
to cancel, you will be given a full refund of the contract amount, excluding
setup fees and overages. If
cancellation is received after the first 30 days, no refund will be granted.
Setup fees are refundable ONLY
for the following reasons:
- You canceled the account
order prior to activation
- Your desired domain name was not available.
This policy does not apply to any
additional services such as, but not limited to, overages, disk space, e-mail
accounts, domain name registration, web design services.
Refund Policy for Renewals
Renewals of web hosting contracts will be refunded if notification is received
no later than 10 days following renewal date. No refunds will be granted for
notifications received after this date.
Domain Registration
This refund policy applies to the web hosting product. If domain name
registration is associated with the account, upon the cancellation of the web
hosting product, the account will be downgraded to Domain Name Registration
Only.
Domain name registration fees are
not refundable.
Requests to Change Term of Contract
Contract length changes must be submitted no later than 10 days after the
renewal to be effective for this renewal cycle. Any change requests after this
date will be effective upon the next renewal cycle.
Requests to Cancel After Renewal Date
You must notify Adaptive Hosting before or within 10 days of the Renewal
Date if you wish to cancel an account. Adaptive Hosting does not offer
prorated refunds for cancellation requests submitted after 10 days of the
renewal date.
Downgrade Requests
During the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a less
expensive Adaptive Hosting product, and you will receive a credit for the
difference in Plan cost. After the first 30 days of activation, you may request
a Plan Change to a less expensive Adaptive Hosting product but you will be
charged a $25.00 Plan Change fee from Adaptive-1 to Adaptive-2
web hosting plans and From Adaptive 1 to Adaptive 3 or 4 . We will credit the difference between the amount charged
for the more expensive product and the downgraded product.
Upgrade Requests
During the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a more expensive
Adaptive Hosting product. After the first 30 days of activation, you may
request a Plan Change to a more expensive Adaptive Hosting product but you will be
charged a $25.00 Plan Change fee from Adaptive-1 to Adaptive-2
web hosting plans . You will be billed the difference between the hosting
plans.
No
Transfer of Funds Between Accounts
Adaptive Hosting does not transfer funds from one account to another for
any reason. It is your responsibility to keep
valid contact and billing information on the account. Adaptive Hosting
will continue to send information regarding your account in accordance with the
contact information you have provided.
Balance Due
Please be advised that the cancellation of the account does not release you
from financial responsibility. If your account has a past due balance and you
are not eligible for a refund, our Accounting department will continue
collection efforts.
